March News 2024
We were so proud of our Young Voices choir who sang at Sheffield Arena this year.
It has been really great to see so many parents, carers and other family members over the past few weeks at school events, review meetings and parents’ evenings. There is so much to celebrate in school at the moment, and it is wonderful to be able to share the fine details of how the children are getting on. We would like to thank you so much for your support for school; when everyone works together like we do, the sky is the limit for the children.
School Disco – 15th March
Our next School Disco is on Friday 15th March – 6pm – 7.30pm. Tickets will be available from school from Monday 11th for £3.00 – this includes a drink and a hot dog. Our Y6 children will be selling these tickets at breaktime, so please send some money in with your child if you would like one.
Special events – Red Nose Day
Following on from a really brilliant World Book Day, when the range and inventiveness of the children’s costumes was unbelievable, we have Red Nose Day on Friday 15th March. We are going to keep this simple and will just have a collection for loose change at the school disco. So please send the children with a little extra cash or drop something in the pot when you come to collect them.
Sports success on the horizon (again!)
We have a very busy few months ahead with sport including:
Our various sports teams competing in a range of local and events including our first ever swimming squad
Our Cross Country teams have begun their challenge to regain individual and retain team titles in the league of almost thirty schools.
The continuation of a really wide range of extra-curricular activities to promote physical well-being.
Update your details / reporting absences
Could you please ensure that our office has your latest contact details? It is fantastic to have the technology to contact parents immediately now in the case of school closure or to discuss the children’s education and well-being. However, this does depend on us having your latest address, phone and email details.
