October News 2023
What a wonderful start to the school year
The children have had an absolutely brilliant first term back in school and we are all very impressed with them. We’ve had lots of great clubs, visitors and trips to start the year.
Everywhere the children go, people comment on their kind, well-behaved and friendly behaviour…perfect!
It has also been really positive to meet with so many families at school events including Fun Sports and Harvest Festival.
The term ahead is packed with more excitement and opportunities for us to meet with families to celebrate so much that is good in school.
The first week after half term sees our termly parents’ meetings where families have the opportunity to discuss children’s progress and next steps with teachers. If you haven’t already booked you can do so in the Parents section of our website on the ‘Parents Meetings November 2023’ page.
There is a massive amount to be excited about over the next few months…here’s a short list:
After half term we will be selling poppies and other items in support of the annual poppy appeal.
Also, we will be raising money for Children in Need on 17th November. More information on both these events shortly.
Our school photographer will be visiting on 20th November to take individual and family photos.
Friday December 1st is our ‘dress down day’ in return for donations for our PTA Christmas Fayre which will take place after school on December 8th between 5pm and 7pm.
Our school party day is booked in for 13th December, no hot lunches on that day, we will all contribute to a shared lunch.
Our Y3 Christmas Performance for families, A Hint of Snow White, will take place on Monday 18th December at 7pm.
Term Ends on Wednesday, 20th December 2023 and children return after the Christmas break on Wednesday, 3rd January 2024.
